Stairs, flooring and wall cladding
You take in a stone staircase in a single glance: if the treads do not all share the same tone and the same going, you notice from day one.

That is why we cut a staircase from a single batch of stone and number every piece: tread one and tread fifteen have to be the same marble. We prepare the tread with a polished edge, the riser to size and the skirting following the rake.
For wall cladding we work in large format with minimal joints, and on fireplaces and media walls we resolve the cantilevered piece and how it meets the joinery.
About price
A staircase is quoted per step, counting tread, riser and skirting. What moves the price most is the marble you choose and whether the steps are straight or winders. We give you a fixed quote with the exact number of pieces before we cut anything.
If something is not right, we come back.
