Coping done properly has a rounded edge so it does not hurt as you climb out, a fall away from the pool so water does not run back in, and a non-slip finish that is still non-slip when wet. We cut curved pieces to measure when the pool calls for it.
On terraces and summer kitchens the logic is the same: low-absorption stone, well-spaced expansion joints and tops that take embers, ice and salt. We have built curved bars, barbecue islands and outdoor tables on wrought-iron bases.
About price
Coping is quoted by the linear metre and paving by the square metre, but three things set the real price: whether the pool is straight or curved, the non-slip finish you want, and the stone. We come and look, we measure, and we give you a fixed quote before we start.
