Bathrooms, basins and shower trays
The bathroom is where stone shows most, and where most can be done with it: a bowl carved from the same block as the top has no joints, traps no dirt and looks like nothing that comes in a box.
We make the monolithic basin by hollowing it out of the slab itself, so top and bowl are one continuous piece. It is the most labour-intensive thing we make, and also the one that ages best: no perimeter silicone to yellow, no joint to open up.
We also handle the whole bathroom: made-to-measure shower trays with the fall carved in, large-format wall cladding with minimal joints, tops with aprons and bath steps.
About price
A bathroom top with the bowl carved into it is not priced by the metre: it is priced by the workshop hours it takes to hollow out. What moves the price is the stone, the number of bowls and whether the piece has an apron. We give you a fixed quote before we start, and it does not change afterwards.
