Funerary art and grave restoration
There is no hurry. The final headstone is decided weeks or months later, calmly, and it is a piece that will stand there for a long time. We also handle the cemetery works permit.
Monday to Friday, 8 to 13 and 15 to 19. Outside those hours, write to info@marbrescalvet.com and we will reply on the first working day.

We make the piece to measure, in the stone and lettering the family chooses, and we measure and install it ourselves at the cemetery. The paperwork — the works permit, which only the holder of the grave may apply for — we prepare and see through with you.
We also restore old graves and family vaults. It is natural stone work done by hand: replacing ashlar, restoring mouldings, cleaning without attacking the material and bringing back worn inscriptions. Vilanova and Sitges have two of the most notable historic cemeteries in Catalonia, and we have been working in them since 1952.
About price
We always give you a firm quote before starting, with measuring, the permit paperwork and installation included. As a public reference, the last official tariff published by Cementiris de Barcelona put a granite headstone at between roughly €580 and €1,020; a made-to-measure piece usually falls within that range.
